Very early in her career, Dr Lucas was introduced to digital CEREC dentistry—a technology that enables same-day ceramic fillings, crowns, and veneers—and has remained at the forefront of its evolution ever since. She is passionate about embracing new technologies and continuously updates her skills to ensure her patients benefit from the latest advancements in dental care.
Dr Lucas has a deep appreciation for both the art and science of dentistry. She has completed comprehensive training in orthodontics and has a special interest in Invisalign. Her orthodontic work reflects her attention to detail, aesthetic focus, and commitment to helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Outside of dentistry, Tania enjoys life’s simple pleasures—good cheese, great wine, and holidaying wherever the sun is shining.
A proud Adelaide local, Mat began his career with two years in Tasmania, followed by another two practicing in London. He eventually returned home to Adelaide, working in various practices before settling at Lucas Dental - his professional home for the past 22 years.
Mat is a dedicated general dentist who treats every patient like family. He has a particular interest in aesthetic dentistry, CEREC technology, digital imaging, and guiding his patients toward lasting oral health and stability.
Outside the clinic, Mat is a devoted family man living in the Mitcham area with his wife, two sons, and their dog. He enjoys spending time outdoors, whether trail running in the local hills or supporting his boys at football games. When it's time to relax, he appreciates a good meal and a glass of wine at the Ed.
Dr Dawson is passionate about personalized care and works closely with each patient to explain treatment options and develop tailored plans that align with their goals.
Her clinical interests include general restorative dentistry, aesthetic treatments and helping patients feel at ease in the dental environment. She brings a personal understanding of the difference dental treatment can make, which drives her commitment to improving her patients’ oral health and overall confidence.
Dr Madigan takes a collaborative and communicative approach to care. She listens carefully to what each patient hopes to achieve, then works alongside them to understand their priorities and find the best path forward. She enjoys getting to know her patients and building genuine relationships, believing that strong rapport leads to better treatment outcomes.
She is particularly attentive to patients who feel anxious about dental visits, creating a calm and understanding environment where concerns are heard and addressed. Her detail-focused style and grounding in science-based clinical practice help her deliver reliable results.
