You’ll get the best protection from a custom-fit mouthguard, which your dentist can fit you for. They will take an impression of your teeth to create a plaster model to ensure a snug fit, giving you the best possible protection. Mouthguards are also thick enough to cushion your teeth but the tight fit ensures you are able to talk normally.
