Dental treatment and COVID-19 – what you need to know

Current as at 11/05/20.

The Government’s announcement that dentists can provide all dental treatments to patients, means we’re open and ready to support you with all your dental care needs.

Whether it be for your preventive dental check-up, or for a treatment that you were mid-way through or would like to commence now that we’re able to, we’d love to welcome you back to the practice.

This follows a tough couple of months for all Australians as we’ve each played our role to help stop the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Thank you again for being patient with us as we’ve implemented the restrictions required by Government and relevant authorities to help keep everyone healthy and safe.

We want to assure you that our priority remains the safety and well-being of people - our patients, our people and the community. In line with this commitment, we’re continuing to implement a number of standard and COVID-19 specific measures to help minimise any risk of exposure within the practice.

We hope the below information from Dr Kavita Lobo, Clinical Director for Bupa Dental, is helpful and answers any questions or concerns you may have.

If you have an enquiry (or a sore tooth!) please call your local Bupa Dental practice.
