We listen at Bupa Dental Ballarat. We want to understand what's important to you, so we can work together to develop your personalised treatment plan. We'll also help you and your family to improve your home care routine, so you can keep your teeth and gums as healthy as possible.

If you're visiting our Wendouree clinic for the first time, we'd like you to bring along an OPG x-ray. We can refer you to a nearby clinic when you book your appointment, where your x-ray can be bulk billed to Medicare. This helps our dentists to diagnose any oral health problems you might have and to plan effective treatments.

Dr Jeremy Schocroft and the rest of our team provide hands-on care that's tailored to your individual needs and wants. We'll make sure you know exactly what's happening every step of the way so you can make informed decisions, whether you're seeing us for a general dental treatment, a dental emergency, or to discuss cosmetic treatments such as teeth whitening and veneers. We can even help with snoring or issues with your jaw.

We love living and working in our local community and meeting people from all walks of life. To make an appointment at Bupa Dental Ballarat, call our friendly team on (03) 5339 3770 or drop into our clinic from Monday to Friday.

Dentists

Dr Jeremy Schocroft

Dr Jeremy Schocroft

Our principal dentist, Dr Jeremy Schocroft is a devoted, caring professional who knew from a young age that dentistry was his calling. “I’ve always wanted to help people, and I like working with my hands,” he explains. “Dentistry combines those things.”

He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Adelaide University in 1981 and has been building a wide variety of professional experience ever since.

Dr Schocroft heavily emphasises preventive dentistry and helping people understand the importance of their oral health. He’s also interested in treating jaw and joint disorders, root canal therapy, crowns and other restorations, laser dentistry, periodontal care and orthodontics. Along with looking after people’s oral health, Dr Schocroft is passionate about teaching and guiding clinicians who are new to dentistry. His commitment to continued learning means you can find him still attending various courses and lectures (or leading the lectures himself).

Dr Schocroft enjoys competitive snow skiing and has even worked as a ski instructor. He also enjoys spending time at church, at the Rotary Club of Wendouree Breakfast, and of course with his lovely wife and two children.

Dr Pallavi Mishra

Dr Pallavi Mishra

Before Ballarat became her home, Dr Pallavi Mishra worked in and studied dentistry in Australia as well as internationally. After studying in India and Melbourne, Dr MIshra began building a career with a strong patient-centred approach.

She is qualified in many different areas of dentistry, including oral surgery, oral medicine, and treating patients with special needs. Dr Mishra strongly believes in the value of continued learning, which means she often attends professional development courses in Australia and abroad.

Dr Mishra is a member of the ADA and Australian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics. When asked about her favourite part of being a dentist, she cites her ability to help people feel better and improve their oral health.

Outside of the clinic, Dr Mishra enjoys cricket, cooking and staying fit through weight training and running.

Dr Preeti Grover

Dr Preeti Grover

Along with strong experience in all aspects of general dentistry, Dr Grover is passionate about helping others understand why it’s important to look after their teeth and gums – as well as providing practical tips and techniques for how to do it. Her approach to dentistry has a strong preventive focus and she believes that oral health plays a big role in our general wellbeing.
