Dr Adam Alford

Dr Adam Alford
Dr Adam's overall goal is to provide you and your family with all your treatment needs in a professional, friendly, caring and relaxed atmosphere. Dr Adam Alford aims to explain your treatment options in an easy to understand manner. With this in mind he believes it’s important to work with a team who compliments this vision.
He graduated from the University of Sydney with Honours, in 2000 after moving down from Brisbane after completing my school education at St Josephs College Gregory Terrace Brisbane. Dr Alford has worked extensively in Country, General Family, Cosmetic Dentistry, Orthodontic and Dental Implant practices, in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
Dr Alford has strong beliefs in offering patients options with supporting information on the positives and negatives of these options. He believes this enables you, as the patient, to make an educated decision and to decide the treatment that best suits your particular circumstance.
In his spare time Dr Alford enjoys being a dad to his three kids aged 8, 6 and 3 and occasionally squeezing in some exercise.
Dr Jennifer Taylor

Dr Jennifer Taylor
Jennifer graduated with honours in Dentistry from The University of Sheffield, England in 2014. After graduating she worked in general practice in the United Kingdom developing her skills throughout the whole spectrum of general dentistry.
Jennifer has a particular interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, utilising the latest 3D CAD/CAM technology for crowns, bridges and veneers. She also enjoys root canal treatments. Jennifer's caring and empathetic nature helps to put patients at ease, and makes attending the dentist a relaxed and enjoyable experience.
Jennifer decided to move down under in search of warmer weather and an outdoors lifestyle. Outside of dentistry, she spends her time running, cycling and going to yoga classes. She also loves exploring Australia and travelling overseas.
Dr Pramodh Nayagam

Dr Pramodh Nayagam
Dr Pramodh Nayagam graduated from James Cook University in Cairns, Far North Queensland in 2013 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
Since graduation he has worked in Moranbah in the Isaac region, Central Queensland for 18months and since moved back to Brisbane to be closer to his family in Brisbane. Through his time in the west he gained valuable experience in all areas of dentistry, particularly in cosmetics, CEREC (Cad/Cam) crowns and bridges and root canal therapy.
Dr Pramodh Nayagam is strongly committed to continual learning and development to ensure he is always providing the best and most up-to-date treatment for his patients. He is able to provide treatment under Nitrous (happy gas) to cater to the most anxious of his patients and is always seeking to keep his patients as comfortable as possible.
Outside of dentistry Primo is a keen basketball and soccer player. He loves to watch the All Blacks play, having been raised in Auckland, NZ and also enjoys playing the guitar.
Dr Pramodh Nayagam is down to earth and with his positive and light hearted manner will put you at ease and make you feel comfortable from the start. He takes time to get to know his patients and his first priority is always to ensure their needs are fulfilled.
Dr Lily Zhu

Dr Lily Zhu
Lily graduated from the University of Queensland with first class honours and the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons Prize for that year. She has previously worked in private practice in Gatton and Ipswich before joining the team at Face Value Dental.
Lily is committed to providing gentle, caring and friendly service in all aspects of general dentistry, with a particular interest in Oral Surgery. She speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Outside of work, she loves learning new things, cooking, photography and various creative arts.
Dr Christina Lee

Dr Christina Lee
Christina completed her Bachelor of Dentistry at the University of Queensland in 2012. After graduating, she commenced working in a private clinic in regional Victoria where she practiced mostly general dentistry as well as cosmetic dentistry. Christina has recently moved back to Brisbane for her family.
Christina enjoys all aspects of dentistry but has a special interest in treating kids and anxious patients. She continues to update her skills by attending various courses in various aspect of dentistry.
Dr Yu-Yu Chien

Dr Yu-Yu Chien
Dr. Yu-Yu Chien graduated from Otago University in Dunedin, New Zealand, in 1999 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He has a wide range of experience and a passion for cosmetic dentistry such as veneers, inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges and other restorations.
Dr Yu-Yu is currently a fellow and a diplomat with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, proving his dedication to continued learning and an ongoing development of his skills.
Dr Yu-Yu' s personality is full of warmth and witty humour, making it easy for both patients and colleagues to feel comfortable around him. He also takes the time to listen and respond to his patients so that they’re fully aware of all treatment options.
When he’s not being a typical Kiwi and enjoying all types of sports, he's usually gallivanting across Australia with his beautiful family. He speaks Taiwanese and also Mandarin.
Dr Navin Michael Sequeira

Dr Navin Michael Sequeira
Navin completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (2003) and Master of Orthodontics (2007) in India. He then went on to do his MOrth RCS in Edinburgh, UK. He moved to Sydney in 2009, and completed his Master's in Philosophy in orthodontics at the University of Sydney. He completed his Australian Dental Council (ADC) exams in 2011 and has since worked both in private and public dental clinics. He has also worked with Aboriginal dental services in Sydney and Brisbane as a senior dentist and clinical supervisor for the University of Queensland undergraduate dental students.
Navin enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a special interest in orthodontics. He provides fixed and removable options to correct teeth in malocclusion. He always believes in putting the patient’s interests first, providing them with all the available treatment options and letting them decide their treatment. He likes to keep the whole dental experience an enjoyable and stress free one. He can offer various options for those who are a little anxious about seeing a dentist.
Outside of dentistry, Navin enjoys spending time with his lovely wife, 2-year-old baby boy and their black Labrador. He enjoys his cricket (of course!), and tennis. He has lately become an avid Broncos supporter. He also likes to travel and is constantly in search of a new destination to explore.
Dr Thia Baskerville

Dr Thia Baskerville
Dr Thia Baskerville graduated from Griffith University Dental School on the Gold Coast with a Bachelor of Oral Health and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry. She trained in Mount Isa and embraced the rural lifestyle, prior to moving back to Brisbane to work several years in private practice.
Thia is a gentle natured dentist who is highly committed to patient care and particularly passionate about caring for nervous patients. Dr Baskerville is interested in all aspects of general dentistry, in particular aesthetic work and she especially loves keeping visits to the dentist an interactive and positive experience for children.
Outside dentistry, Thia enjoys spending quality time with her husband and one-year old boy. She is also found delving in social sports such as touch football and fishing at her favourite secret spot on North Stradbroke Island.
Dr Alyce Chau

Dr Alyce Chau
Born and raised in Sydney, Dr Alyce then moved to the Sunshine State, graduating from the University of Queensland with Honours. Before joining the Bupa team, she worked with the Queensland Health Metro North Oral Health Services.
Dr Alyce enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but is especially passionate about making visiting the dentist a positive experience, usually by making children laugh with a lame joke or two! With extensive experience working with anxious patients, her goal is to make them feel comfortable and confident about their smile again.
Since she was a kid, if Dr Alyce wasn’t going to be a dentist, she dreamt of becoming a baker (so she could sneakily eat all the leftovers!). In her free time, she likes to try out different recipes and go on brunch dates with her friends and family. Dr Alyce can also speak Cantonese and Japanese.
Dr Wei-Ju Chen

Dr Wei-Ju Chen
Dr Wei-Ju Chen completed her dentistry degree in Queensland and before joining our team at Bupa Dental she worked in both metro and rural Australia. She is passionate about dentistry and strives to make people feel comfortable at the dentist.
Wei-Ju enjoys all aspects of general dentistry with a keen interest in restorative dentistry and oral surgery. She has a gentle and kind approach to patients to ensure that their concerns and needs are fully attended to.
When she is not working, Wei-Ju enjoys keeping fit, cooking and trying out different restaurants. She is a very approachable and caring person and wants to make sure all her patients have a positive experience at the dentist.
Dr Jonathan Sin

Dr Jonathan Sin
Dr Jonathan Sin graduated with First Class Honours in Dentistry and has extensive experience working in metro and rural Queensland and New South Wales, treating patients of all age groups.
Dr Jonathan has a calm personality and gentle chairside manner and focuses on building positive relationships with patients. Dr Jonathan is skilled in all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in crown and bridge work, root canal treatment and oral surgery.
Apart from general dental care, Dr Jonathan is experienced in managing dental pain and anxiety. When Dr Jonathan is not going on a hike or exploring nice restaurants, he is likely to be attending continuing professional development courses to stay up to date with the latest skills and technology.

Jennefer Turnbull

Jennefer Turnbull
Jennefer first entered the world of Dentistry in 2007 after applying for and gaining a scholarship with Dental Nursing Australia (WA). She soon realised that she had found her niche and graduated as class Dux on her Dental Assisting Certificate IV course.
Enjoying the clinical aspects of the Dental Industry, she was keen to continue studying and applied for the Dental Hygiene program at Curtin University in WA. She graduated at the end of 2009 with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene and continued working in the Rockingham area (WA) until 2012.
Jen is passionate about having the most up to date information on Preventive Care and products for our patients. She has a particular interest in and enjoys providing care for our Periodontal Therapy patients.
Jennefer has previously worked for the Royal Australian Navy, and especially enjoys spending time with our Defence Veteran Patients.
Jennefer, her husband and their two boys moved to the Brisbane area in 2013 and are enjoying our East Coast lifestyle. They are also keen AFL fans. Outside of the clinical environment Jen enjoys travel, exotic foods and is a keen runner. She is continues to enjoy her half marathon training.
Kellie Krause

Kellie Krause
Kellie has joined the Bupa Dental team after moving from Sydney to sunny Brisbane with her family. Kellie is a skilled dental hygienist, graduating from the University of Newcastle with a Bachelor of Oral Health. After earning her degree in 2008, Kellie began working in general and specialist orthodontic practices in Sydney.
Kellie is a caring and understanding hygienist who provides treatment for periodontal disease, the routine provision of preventative dental care and education about your oral health.
