At Bupa Dental Casuarina, we don't just fix problems with your teeth. Our main goal is to help you and your family develop good oral hygiene habits through a holistic approach to dentistry, so you can enjoy good dental health for the long term.

On your first visit to our clinic, we'll get to know you and understand your unique dental needs. We'll ask you to complete a new patient form that tells your dentist what they need to know about your medical and dental history, including any medication you're currently taking. Then we'll carry out a full examination of your mouth, which may involve x-rays.

If we notice any issues with your teeth or gums, we'll discuss the most suitable treatment options with you and answer any questions you have. We know that every patient is different, and we'll work with you to create your personalised oral health plan.

Our experienced dentists can offer a comprehensive range of treatments, from restorative procedures such as crowns and implants to cosmetic surgery and children's dentistry. We can also provide emergency dental care if you break a tooth or need to see a dentist as soon as possible.

Our dental clinic is easy to find in The Village Shopping Centre, with two hours free parking and a bus stop right outside. Find out more about Bupa Dental Casuarina by visiting us on Monday to Friday or getting in touch on (08) 8945 1005 to make an appointment.

As our principal dentist, Dr Ean Ong brings a wealth of experience in complex areas like full mouth rehabilitation, digital dentistry and laser dentistry. He earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney in 1979.

Dr Ong says his career as a dentist allows him to be a scientist, engineer and artist all rolled into one. His absolute favourite part of dentistry, however, is getting to see patients’ oral health improve over time. Known for his friendly and approachable demeanour, Dr Ong is a favourite among patients and staff alike. He is a member of the ADA.

Dr Ong’s philosophy on oral health care includes a strong emphasis on preventive care at home. He has built a team who focus on educating patients about the importance of at-home oral hygiene and the best ways to care for their teeth and gums.

Dr Alison Walker

Dr Alison Walker

Since high school, Dr Alison Walker knew she wanted to be a dentist. She says that oral health is important because it affects how we eat, speak, our overall health and our quality of life.

Dr Walker earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from James Cook University, completed a volunteer dental graduate program in 2015, and quickly built a reputation as a friendly practitioner with a keen eye for detail. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association.

She has extensive experience in general dentistry, although she’s especially interested in extractions, including surgical extractions for wisdom teeth. When asked about her favourite part of dentistry, Dr Walker cites daily opportunities to meet new people and work together to solve oral health issues.

Outside of the dental surgery, Dr Walker enjoys exploring, reading, fostering kittens, and moonlighting as a gustation aficionado.
