Dr. Nassier Al Obedy

Dr. Nassier Al Obedy
Dr. Nassier Al Obedy is the Practice Principle at Bupa Dental - Geelong South. Graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Baghdad in 1992, he has vast experience working across several private practices across Australia and New Zealand.
Dr. Al Obedy holds true to the philosophy that many dental health problems are preventable, thus he is a strong advocate for preventative dentistry and the overall improvement of his patients oral hygiene.
Early in his career, Dr Al Obedy was working with the defence forces in New Zealand, as a practicing Dentist at Woodbourn Air base and Davenport Naval base in Auckland. Moving to Australia, he has worked as a Senior Dental Officer in charge of the Macquarie Area Health, as well as an HCF Hospital in Sydney.
Although, Dr Al Obedy focuses most of his time on general dentistry, such as endodontic treatment, fillings and veneers, he also has a strong passion for implant dentistry, having completed his Diploma in Implants at the University of Sydney during 2006.
Away from the practice, Dr Al Obedy is a family man who enjoys spending time with his three children. He also enjoys playing tennis as well as chess.
Dr Asmono Truong

Dr Asmono Truong
Dr Asmono Truong graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery with Honours from the University of Sydney in 2004. During his study he received prizes in both operative dentistry and pharmacology.
He has extensive experience in all forms of general dentistry and desires to assist his patients in achieving and maintaining their oral health via a conservative and preventive approach.
Outside of dentistry Asmono is passionate about music, literature, nature, and spending time with family and friends.
Dr Carmine Camerlengo

Dr Carmine Camerlengo
Carmine Camerlengo was born in Adelaide and graduated from the University of Adelaide in 1978. He is a keen Carlton Football Club supporter, even in spite of their lack of success in recent years. He began practicing in Victoria in Werribee in 1980 and sold the practice to make the "G" Change, work wise.
He spent years on the Board of Wyndham Lodge Aged Care Facility, and even longer on committees of local soccer clubs. Currently, he has the role of Football Operations Manager at Werribee City Football Club, who play in the National Premier League (NPL).
He has an interest in thoroughbred horse racing.
Carmine is married, with three adult children, A son in Hong Kong who is married with two children, A son, who is studying in Sydney, and the youngest a son, still at home, who currently is involved with soccer coaching and the development of a soccer academy.

Mr Kurt Boyd (Prosthetist)

Mr Kurt Boyd (Prosthetist)
Kurt started his diploma of Dental Technology in 2003 and went on to complete his Advanced Diploma in Dental Prosthesis at RMIT University in 2008.
Since then Kurt has worked at Ballarat Dental Hospital as well as private practice and has been with the practice since 2010.
Kurt specialises in all types of removable dentures as well as having a strong focus on implant retained prosthesis.
When Kurt isn't working he enjoys spending time with his young family and playing ice hockey.

Mrs Laura Malishev

Mrs Laura Malishev
Laura was born and has grown up in Geelong. Laura completed her studies in a Bachelor of Oral Health and Oral Health Therapy in 2013 at Griffith University on the Gold Coast.
She has worked in public and private practice with an especial interest in children’s dentistry and making the dental experience an enjoyable one. Laura enjoys promoting good oral health practices and changes peoples’ perceptions of dentistry.
Outside of work Laura is married and has two beautiful cats, two horses and a whole lot of chickens. She is a published children’s book illustrator and enjoys painting, dressage, travel, good food and wine.
Ms Elise Vo

Ms Elise Vo
Elise graduated with a Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Melbourne in 2013. She has worked in both the public and private sector and is an active member of the Australian Dental and Oral Health Therapist Association.
Elise loves continuing her education and returned to university in 2017 to complete her Graduate Certificate of Dental Therapy (Advanced Clinical Practice).
As an Oral Health Therapist, Elise has a diverse role delivering care to patients of all ages; practicing with a gentle, preventative and holistic approach.
Outside of work she likes to keep active, travel and spend time with her family and friends.
