Your smile can be your best feature, but unless it’s healthy you may not feel comfortable sharing those pearly whites with the world.

Our friendly team at Bupa Dental in Mortdale understand this, and are committed to helping make sure that smile of yours is as healthy and bright as possible, in the calm surroundings of our modern clinic.

When you first visit, we’ll take the time to do a detailed review of your oral health history, which helps us to understand any concerns, or priority areas you may have already identified with your teeth.

We then develop a comprehensive plan, which will take these priorities into account, as well as taking into consideration any preventative treatments that you might need. This approach can help reduce the risk of more involved treatment being needed in the future, which can save you from potential pain in both your teeth and your pocket.

Our experienced team will then walk you through the plan, making sure you’re aware of all the relevant options for you, answer any questions you have and help you to make informed decisions about your treatment throughout the process.

The clinic offers a wide range of services for the whole family, including regular check-ups and cleaning, as well as more complex treatments such as the latest in dental implant technologies*.

For those who are looking for a little added protection, as well as a brighter, whiter smile, we also offer options including dental veneers and teeth whitening.

Located conveniently in Mortdale, the professional team at Bupa Dental will help make getting quality oral health care easy, ensuring you feel as comfortable in the dentist chair, as out.

Dentists

Dr Robert Aslan

Dr Robert Aslan

Dr Aslan Graduated from Sydney University in 1985 with BDS. He is a firm believer in the use of technology to improve outcomes for dental solutions for his patients. Dr Aslan firmly believes in minimally invasive dentistry. He maintains that prevention of dental disease is essential in modern suburban living, where the stresses of life impact greatly on the health of the dentition. He is also very aware of the impact of the teeth and jaws on the body as a whole.

Dr Aslan has been recognised as a leader in dental Laser technology and has taught hundreds of dentists and specialists in the effective use of Lasers in dentistry. Previous techniques applied to save many teeth that others have deemed not to be restorable, have benefited greatly with the Laser technology. Dr Aslan has kept many patients with chronic periodontal disease healthy for years without the painful and expensive techniques that have been taught in the past. Many patients that have given up on the old techniques are now under comfortable management. Dr Aslan understands how precious his patients time is, he has been able to convert many treatments that traditionally took months to complete, into a single day treatment. He takes referrals from other dentists who understand the great results obtained from the Laser technology applied at his surgery.

Dr Aslan has taught locally and internationally and is the current Australian trainer for Biolase Laser systems. He lectures often on the use of Lasers in the surgery, periodontics and minimally invasive cavity preparations.

Dr Aslan uses operating microscope and has refined techniques for the minimal preparations, often no anaesthetic is necessary.
