"Nothing is more professionally satisfying than seeing a patient's eyes light up when they see their new smile for the first time", says Dr Barnes. Prior to working at Bupa Dental Rochedale, Dr Barnes spent a few years working for rural dental practices in Miles and Dalby.
As a member of the Australian Dental Association, and a member of the International Team for Implantology, Dr Barnes is a perfect choice as your dental Practitioner. He is dynamic, incredibly astute and has huge attention to detail. He will make sure that the treatment you receive is first rate and you are thrilled with the results.
Her favourite thing about her field is that a dentist never works alone. She loves the fact that she’s always surrounded by others, gets to meet new people every day, and is part of a supportive environment with her colleagues. Gaeun is caring and gentle, and knows that not everyone loves sitting in the dentist’s chair. She takes extra care to listen to her patients and understand their past dental experiences, so she can ensure they’re comfortable, and tailor long-term care plans for them.
Outside of work, Gaeun plays social tennis, bakes, and gets lost in books.
Yunyang is great with kids and loves connecting with patients of all ages, building trusting relationships with her patients and working hard to create a safe environment. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has completed further study in orthodontics. Going to great lengths to help craft the right treatment plan for each patient, her goal is always to help them enjoy their food as well as their smile.
Yunyang believes in a healthy work/life balance. In her free time, she enjoys slowing down with hiking, pilates and spending quality time with her daughter.
She is passionate about family and general dentistry, particularly making sure that each patient feels comfortable and relaxed in her dental chair. From building trust in that first dental visit, to guiding someone through supported, informed dental decision making, or transforming someone’s smile, Georgia is motivated each day to give her patients professional care.
Her areas of interest include preventative treatment, paediatric dentistry and crown and bridge-work, and she is comfortable treating anxious patients. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association and regularly attends continuing professional education events to ensure she is up to date with the latest techniques and procedures.
In her downtime, you will find Georgia spending time with family and friends, experimenting in the kitchen, making her way through a good book or dreaming of her next travel adventure.
