Meet our staff Dr Barnes completed his degree at University of Queensland. His particular interests include Invisalign, whitening, crowns, bridges, veneers, and implant-retained restorations.

"Nothing is more professionally satisfying than seeing a patient's eyes light up when they see their new smile for the first time", says Dr Barnes. Prior to working at Bupa Dental Rochedale, Dr Barnes spent a few years working for rural dental practices in Miles and Dalby.

As a member of the Australian Dental Association, and a member of the International Team for Implantology, Dr Barnes is a perfect choice as your dental Practitioner. He is dynamic, incredibly astute and has huge attention to detail. He will make sure that the treatment you receive is first rate and you are thrilled with the results.
After completing his degree in India (MAHE, 2000), Srini relocated to Australia to complete his Master’s (MPhil, 2005) and Post-doctorate degree (PhD, 2013) in the University of Queensland. During this period, Srini gained knowledge and experience in the field of dental research, grants, and clinical dentistry, alongside being a tutor in the University of Queensland (2014) and Griffith (2016). Srini is also a lecturer in TAFE Queensland, where he is proud to be involved in the development of an accredited course on Bachelor of Dental Prosthetics. Srini is passionate about dentistry and is known for his friendly and gentle demeanour. His holistic approach towards dentistry is “Every tooth in your mouth makes your smile your signature accessory.” He loves helping kids learn how to maintain good dental health. He is committed to provide quality of care, as he believes patients’ oral health is interconnected with their overall health, appearance, and well-being. His interest in dentistry is restorative and cosmetic dentistry, root canal treatments, removable implant retained dentures, crown and bridge placements, sleep apnoea devices, mouthguards, splints, and children’s dentistry. Srini is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Dental Prosthetist Association, and International Association of Dental Traumatology. His continuing education includes Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology (PGIDS). Dr Priyanka Singh is a dentist with over 12 years of experience in treating patients. She started her career as a dentist in Canberra and has been working in Brisbane for more than eight years now. Dr Singh has worked in both public and private sectors prior to joining Bupa. As a family dentist, Dr Singh values a holistic approach to patient care and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She has special interest in preventative dentistry, root canal treatment, crown and bridge. She takes a gentle and positive approach, helping create a relaxed and comfortable setting for patients. Dr Singh is known for her friendly manner and professionalism. She’s passionate about keeping herself up-to-date on recent advances in dentistry and attends continued education sessions regularly. Apart from English, Dr Singh speaks fluent Hindi. Away from work, Dr Singh enjoys spending time with her husband and their two lovely children. She likes to run and is a bit of a fitness enthusiast. As the newest member of Bupa Dental-Carindale, Dr Hannah Aziz brings to us over 8 years of experience in the dental industry. Her dedication to patient care shines through her thoroughness in dental work, and she hopes to encourage healthy smiles in all of her patients, and to achieve their oral health goals. Dr Aziz offers a wide range of services to her patients in the most caring, gentle and comforting manner covering all aspects of general dentistry with a special interest in preventive, restorative, cosmetic and periodontal care dentistry. Dr Aziz focuses in both Child and Adult Dentistry, and caters to the needs of growing children, teens as well as adults. Her focus is on teaching her patients healthy habits, allowing them to be proud of their smiles. She continues to improve her dentistry skills and knowledge by attending to continuing professional training and education keeping up to date with recent research and advances in the field of dentistry. Apart from dentistry, Hannah loves to spend quality time with her daughter together trying to whip up some new healthy recipes in the kitchen. She also enjoys cycling and yoga to stay and remain fit and healthy. Dr Gaeun Joung was inspired to pursue dentistry by her childhood dentist. She saw how he built genuine connections and trust with his patients, and knew she wanted to do the same one day. Gaeun speaks Korean and English, and is passionate about paediatric dentistry.

Her favourite thing about her field is that a dentist never works alone. She loves the fact that she’s always surrounded by others, gets to meet new people every day, and is part of a supportive environment with her colleagues. Gaeun is caring and gentle, and knows that not everyone loves sitting in the dentist’s chair. She takes extra care to listen to her patients and understand their past dental experiences, so she can ensure they’re comfortable, and tailor long-term care plans for them.

Outside of work, Gaeun plays social tennis, bakes, and gets lost in books.
Joining her grandparents for their dental visits growing up, Dr Yunyang Wu saw the impact of their dental problems on their health and happiness. Realising that dentistry could make a positive impact on their patients’ lives, she made her career choice.

Yunyang is great with kids and loves connecting with patients of all ages, building trusting relationships with her patients and working hard to create a safe environment. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has completed further study in orthodontics. Going to great lengths to help craft the right treatment plan for each patient, her goal is always to help them enjoy their food as well as their smile.

Yunyang believes in a healthy work/life balance. In her free time, she enjoys slowing down with hiking, pilates and spending quality time with her daughter.
Georgia is a warm, enthusiastic and experienced dentist who enjoys making every patient’s visit to the dentist positive and friendly. She is a Brisbane local who grew up in the eastern suburbs, and competed her studies at Griffith University where she obtained a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and a Graduate Diploma of Dentistry. Since graduation, Georgia has worked in the bay-side suburbs of Brisbane, as well as the inner city.

She is passionate about family and general dentistry, particularly making sure that each patient feels comfortable and relaxed in her dental chair. From building trust in that first dental visit, to guiding someone through supported, informed dental decision making, or transforming someone’s smile, Georgia is motivated each day to give her patients professional care.

Her areas of interest include preventative treatment, paediatric dentistry and crown and bridge-work, and she is comfortable treating anxious patients. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association and regularly attends continuing professional education events to ensure she is up to date with the latest techniques and procedures.

In her downtime, you will find Georgia spending time with family and friends, experimenting in the kitchen, making her way through a good book or dreaming of her next travel adventure.
