We've been working in our community for 30 years, and we treat our patients like family. When you visit us for the first time, we'll give you a warm welcome and answer any questions you have. We'll ask you to complete a new patient form so you can tell us about your dental or medical history, any medications you're taking and anything else your dentist should know.
Your full oral health assessment may include x-rays and digital images of your mouth, which help us to get the full picture of your oral health. After your examination, we'll clean and polish your teeth to remove plaque and apply fluoride to help strengthen your teeth against bacteria and decay.
If we think you could benefit from a dental treatment to correct or prevent an oral health problem, or if you want a cosmetic treatment such as laser teeth whitening, we'll discuss all the options with you so you can make an informed choice. We'll then develop your personalised treatment plan.

Shimal is always keen to learn from others and continuously strives to acquire new skills and loves being a well-involved member of the Bupa Dental team.
Shimal is a very sociable person and enjoys taking part in a variety of leisure activities, mostly eating out! Since moving to Australia, she has played for a local soccer club and has been learning how to water-ski, wakeboard and surf. Shimal enjoys snow skiing and swimming but also likes to relax by reading and baking. She has also acquired her boat and jet ski licence.
Ashleigh makes it her priority to create a supportive, judgment-free zone for all patients. Gentle and empathetic by nature, she strives to help children and anxious patients of all ages feel at ease during their appointments. Ashleigh finds joy in motivating others, and loves helping patients envision and achieve a future with healthier teeth.
When she’s not looking into people’s mouths, Ashleigh enjoys going on long hikes just as much as she enjoys unwinding in front of the piano. With her natural curiosity, she gets excited by professional development opportunities, and works hard to bring her best self to her patients.
Dr Nastasi began her career in oral health, graduating with a Bachelor of Oral Health from Central Queensland University in 2016. She went on to complete her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at James Cook University in Cairns in 2022. Her professional background spans private practice, school dental programs and aged care services, giving her a well-rounded and inclusive approach to patient care.
Originally from Mareeba in Far North Queensland, Dr Nastasi was introduced to dentistry through a unique opportunity to collaborate with her brother, also a dental professional. This early experience reinforced her appreciation for family values and community connection, qualities she brings to every aspect of her practice today.
Dr Nastasi is particularly enthusiastic about supporting children and patients with dental anxiety. Known for her calming, kind-hearted nature, she takes the time to make sure every individual feel heard, comfortable and at ease. She builds trust through clear communication and gentle care, especially with those who may be nervous or visiting the dentist for the first time.
Dr. Chen loves building connections with patients, educating them about oral health, and empowering them with knowledge to make informed decisions. He creates a positive and comfortable experience, valuing patient confidence and comfort.
As a good listener and great educator, Dr. Chen approaches each appointment with a relaxed and non-judgmental attitude. He takes the time to explain treatment options clearly, ensuring patients feel cared for and informed. Dr. Chen strives to create a friendly environment, even adding small touches to comfort nervous patients.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Chen enjoys food, movies, TV shows, and video games. Fluent in English and Mandarin, Dr. Chen offers genuine, gentle, and supportive care, prioritizing patient comfort and education. He aims to build trust through consistent and thorough care, making each visit a positive experience.
Dr Luu provides general dentistry and has a special interest in dental implant placement and surgical care. While working at Sydney Dental Hospital, she had the opportunity to work closely with oral surgeons, endodontists, prosthodontists and paediatric dentists. This supported her development across diagnosis, treatment planning, and complex care coordination.
Dr Luu has completed the Australasian Implant Academy Fellowship Program, which strengthened her skills in planning and placing implants to replace missing teeth. She uses a careful, step by step approach and explains options in clear, practical language. Patients can expect a calm experience where the focus is on understanding the problem, discussing suitable treatment choices, and planning care that supports long term oral health.
Renowned for her warm and friendly approach, Dr. Julia excels at helping even the most anxious patients feel at ease. She prioritises building strong, trusting relationship and ensures every patient feels supported and understood throughout their dental journey. She also has a particular passion for educating children about good oral health, helping young patients build healthy habits for life.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Julia is a keen runner, Pilates enthusiast, and ocean lover; interests she’s always happy to chat about if you’re looking for a comforting distraction in the dental chair.
