Alistair completed his training at the University of Queensland and graduated will First Class Honours in 1997. He has completed further education and training in the following dedicated areas of: Implant dentistry, minor oral surgical procedures, use of lasers in dentistry, cosmetic procedures, porcelain crowns and veneer treatments, use of Botolinum muscle relaxants in dentistry, Invisalign aligner treatment and braces orthodontics.
Alistair is a member of the International College of Continuing Dental Education (ICCDE) in Orthodontics. He enjoys all areas of dentistry. Helping people smile with confidence and feel better about their teeth is particularly rewarding. Alistair is committed to providing the highest standard of treatment. He is continually updating his knowledge of new procedures by attending continuing education seminars.
Alistair believes dentistry is about helping every person to achieve healthy, good looking teeth. He can advise you what can be done to improve your smile. He can advise if braces or Invisalign clear aligners are suitable to straighten your teeth. Dr Nathoo gained early exposure to complex dental cases during her university placement at Tweed Heads Hospital, where she assisted with challenging procedures in a busy hospital setting. Since graduating, she has worked exclusively in private practice, where she continues to treat a diverse range of patients and refine her skills across various disciplines.
Dr Nathoo is passionate about building strong patient relationships and delivering outcomes that not only meet clinical needs but also align with individual patient goals. She believes that every patient deserves personalised care and a dentist who listens, explains clearly and checks in throughout the appointment to make sure they feel comfortable.
Her favourite part of dentistry is the opportunity to help people feel better, both physically and emotionally by giving them confidence in their oral health journey.
