Dr Ong holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Implantology and has been awarded Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has placed and restored over 600 dental implants, with a focus on full-arch rehabilitation and immediate-loading protocols. His advanced training includes an international residency where he studied with the clinicians who pioneered full-arch implant techniques, as well as mentorship from leading prosthodontists in Australia and internationally.
Dr Ong began his career in regional Queensland before spending time in leading cosmetic and implant-focused practices on the Sunshine Coast and in Brisbane, where he was mentored in complex aesthetic dentistry. Before commencing his dental degree, Dr Golbarani spent a gap year in hands-on practical work, including carpentry, house painting and gardening. These experiences considerably sharpened his fine motor skills and gave him a strong foundation for the precision required in clinical work.
Dr Golbarani particularly enjoys working with children and brings a warm, good-humoured approach to every paediatric appointment. He understands that a trip to the dentist is not always the most comfortable experience and works to help patients of all ages feel relaxed and well-informed from the moment they arrive.
