Bupa Dental - Albany Creek A bright, healthy smile can help you make a great first impression, but if you’re concerned about your teeth, you might be hiding it away.

Don’t hide away any longer. Come and visit the friendly, experienced team at Bupa Dental Albany Creek; we’re here to help.

While we understand how important a great smile is, we also value the important role that good oral health can play in your overall wellbeing and our team of dental professionals offer a wide range of services to support you and your family.

When you first come to visit us, we’ll take the time to conduct a comprehensive review of your dental history, which will help us to understand any priorities you may have, and address any concerns.

We’ll then develop a thorough dental health plan to help meet any urgent needs you may have, as well as identifying relevant preventative treatments to help reduce the risk of more complex procedures being needed in the future.

Once this is complete, we’ll then take the time to walk you through the plan and ensure you understand all the options available to you, to help you make informed decisions throughout the process.

In our modern clinic setting we offer a large range of services for you and the whole family. Standard check-ups and teeth cleaning, through to more complex procedures such as dental implants, are all conducted with your care and comfort as our top priority.

We use new AIRFLOW® technology to provide you with a more comfortable, less invasive teeth clean.

If it’s a brighter, whiter smile, with some added protection that you’re after, our experienced team can also offer you options such as teeth whitening and veneers.

Conveniently located in Albany Creek, our friendly team at Bupa Dental ensures that getting quality dental health care is easy, making sure you feel comfortable both in, and out of the dentist chair.

Meet our staff Daniel is a local to Brisbane. He commenced his dental training in 2004 and graduated from the University of Queensland. After Graduation Daniel practiced for 2 years in Toowoomba before returning to Brisbane. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. Daniel continues to enhance his knowledge by regularly attending professional development courses and is a member of the Australian Dental Association. Outside of work Daniel enjoys spending time with family and friends and maintains an active lifestyle. Born and raised in Sydney, Dr Alyce then moved to the Sunshine State, graduating from the University of Queensland with Honours. Before joining the Bupa team, she worked with the Queensland Health Metro North Oral Health Services. Dr Alyce enjoys all aspects of dentistry, but is especially passionate about making visiting the dentist a positive experience, usually by making children laugh with a lame joke or two! With extensive experience working with anxious patients, her goal is to make them feel comfortable and confident about their smile again. Since she was a kid, if Dr Alyce wasn’t going to be a dentist, she dreamt of becoming a baker (so she could sneakily eat all the leftovers!). In her free time, she likes to try out different recipes and go on brunch dates with her friends and family. Dr Alyce can also speak Cantonese and Japanese. Dr Kenneth Lau grew up as an Albany Creek local, where he later took on the role of community dentist and ran his own clinic for 12 years. Having lived in the area all his life, taking care of the community is a huge priority for him. Kenneth is caring, genuine, and kind-hearted, and is as interested in getting to know his patients and their families as he is in dentistry and fixed orthodontics. He’s extremely patient and passionate about what he does, always striving to provide the best possible results for his patients. Kenneth is a man of many hobbies. He splits his time outside of work playing, watching, and coaching soccer, as well as running, cycling, and hiking. These hobbies, along with dentistry, are everything to him. Bryan graduated from the University of Queensland with honours. After graduation, Bryan practiced for 2 years in Gatton before returning to Brisbane. He enjoys general dentistry, and has interests in crowns and bridges, cosmetic work and oral surgery. He also loves having a chat with patients and strives to help them feel at ease in the chair. Bryan continues to build on his knowledge by attending professional development courses regularly. Outside of work, Bryan enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys experimenting with new food recipes, with hopes of one day winning MasterChef. Dr Yumi Choi graduated dentistry from Griffith University with awards for academic excellence. Before her dental career, she worked as a registered nurse for over ten years, predominantly for Queensland Health. She provides all aspects of general dentistry, including general restorations, root canal treatment, crown and bridges, composite and porcelain veneers and dentures. Yumi is extremely passionate about her profession and has a great interest in oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry. Yumi’s positive attitude, integrity and gentle approach always ensure you will feel at ease under her care. Outside of dentistry, Yumi enjoys keeping fit, hiking and taking regular yoga and Pilates classes. She has a great passion for travelling the world and skiing. Dr. John Xiong is an Associate Dentist with a passion for general dentistry, particularly focusing on stabilizing gum health and improving oral health literacy. Fluent in Cantonese, he has 3 years of experience and is not a specialist. Dr. Xiong has a diverse background, including volunteer work in Nepal and China, and has attended various domestic and international courses to enhance his skills. He has worked in rural and local practices in both the public and private sectors, gaining exposure to new dental technologies.

Dr. Xiong was inspired to pursue dentistry by his father, a dentist, and his exposure to the transformative impact of good dental work. He enjoys working with his hands and finds fulfilment in improving people's health. Dr. Xiong's favourite part of dentistry is seeing patients improve their dental health through collaborative efforts, motivating them to take control of their oral health.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Xiong enjoys spending time with his partner and fishing. He has a keen interest in photography, particularly animal and landscape photography, and is always happy to share photos of his brother's corgi.

Known for his caring and detail-oriented nature, Dr. Xiong is a good listener and educator. He works collaboratively with his patients to develop personalized treatment plans and encourages healthy habits. Dr. Xiong's clinical philosophy focuses on preventative measures and maintaining gum health stability. He keeps up to date with his knowledge and clinical skills through various courses, ensuring he provides the best care for his patients.
