Meet our staff After graduating from the University of Melbourne, Seori has been practicing in various locations including regional Victoria and Far North Queensland before making her move to Brisbane.

Seori is passionate about achieving optimal oral health for all her patients, with a particular interest in general restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

When she is not in the dental surgery, she enjoys grooming and training her two fur babies, CoCo and Chi.
In 1982, Dr Paul Hickey kicked off his career in dentistry by graduating with honours from the University of Queensland. Since then, Dr Hickey has worked in private practice in both Australia and the UK and has even worked as a lecturer in oral pathology at the University of Queensland.

Dr Hickey later settled into private practice in The Gap and has been caring for the community’s oral health needs since 1989. For over a decade, he’s had a keen interest in orthodontics and implant dentistry, completing extensive post-graduate training programs in both. He is a long-time member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry and is also interested in crowns bridges, and porcelain veneers.

Along with his broad experience and long history as a dental professional, Dr Hickey is well-known for his warm approach and his ability to put the most nervous of patients at ease.
Having worked in dentistry for over 20 years, Dr Fozia Yaqoob has seen almost every type of crown, bridge and root canal. Building long-term relationships with patients of all ages, Fozia is described as a good listener, organised and a constant professional, which is why many of her patients regularly return.

With a strong focus on sleep apnea and Invisalign, Fozia sees dentistry as a specialised craft, a mixture of art and science. She loves utilizing the technology of digital and laser dentistry to educate and enhance her patients’ overall oral health journey. Known for her compassionate, gentle, and kind-hearted approach, she aims to ensure every patient leaves feeling respected and understood.

When Fozia isn’t working, you’ll either find her buried in a book, plucking the strings of her guitar, or helping out in her community.
Dr Selina Tran is a dentist with a strong interest in restorative, laser and paediatric dentistry. She takes great satisfaction in restoring teeth from minor chips to more complex build-ups, and applies laser dentistry across a range of clinical applications including the management of temporomandibular joint issues.

Dr Tran developed her commitment to patient care through work as a volunteer dental assistant, providing treatment to refugee communities, and through a university placement in rural Australia, where she saw the meaningful impact of bringing oral healthcare to underserved communities.

Dr Tran particularly enjoys working with children and younger patients, approaching every appointment with warmth and care to make the experience a positive one. She understands that dental visits can feel uncertain for many patients and works to create a calm, informative environment where people feel supported and involved in their care throughout.

What she loves most is seeing patients motivated about their oral health. Dr Tran is committed to providing the kind of care that builds confidence and supports long-term oral health outcomes for every patient she sees.
Dr Ramya Kiran is an associate dentist with 25 years of clinical experience, bringing a depth of knowledge that spans both hands-on patient care and formal academic research. She holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in general dentistry, a Doctor of Philosophy in Biomaterials, and is currently pursuing postdoctoral research in microbiology and immunology at The University of Queensland.

Her research background informs a holistic approach to oral health, offering Dr Kiran valuable insight into the relationship between oral and systemic wellbeing. This drives her commitment to evidence-based, patient-centred care across all areas of general dentistry, with a focus on preventive care, fillings, root canal therapy, dentures, and crowns and bridges.

Dr Kiran is a calm and gentle clinician, especially supportive of patients who experience dental anxiety. Her approach is reassuring and unhurried, built around building trust and ensuring every patient feels relaxed and well cared-for throughout their visit.

She is committed to developing lasting relationships with her patients and supporting them in achieving and maintaining excellent oral health.
